Random Tidbits

Here is a video of Kristina Coccia from Denver (Sharky from Parkettes,) talking about being a senior and her gym career up until now. I have an admitted obsession with finding out deep dark secrets about the horrors of Parkettes, so it's always weird to me when a gymnast talks about loving it so much. Especially her - they basically destroyed her ankles and she looked miserable in the years before she left. In any case, I'm so glad she's found a love for gymnastics again. Freakin' miracle.

In the Chicago Style Meet this weekend I stayed in to watch it live on gymnastike instead of having a normal life like other people. Actually it was nice to relax and have my housemates wonder what the screaming on my computer was. Stanford won the meet, Oregon State came in second, and UCLA third. UCLA still has only won one meet this season so far. Sam Peszek made her NCAA debut on bars after a long injury. Here's an interview with her from gymnastike:
